Daigeaun Dominates University City 5K

PHILADELPHIA, PA--By the time he reached the turnaround of the University City 5K on May 3, Michael Daigeaun was well in front of the field of 296, running by himself. Unchallenged, the 28-year-old Philadelphian cruised to a win in 15:03. Eighteen-year-old Kathryn Lund from Media, PA led all women with a time of 19:35.

Cool and overcast conditions made for comfortable running on the out-and-back, slightly hilly, probably short, 5K course through city streets.
